MAC Tempting Quad

I happen to love this quad, it's one of my favorite purchases that I have ever made from MAC. It's got unique but classy colors. :D

I took the lightest color Next to Nothing, a very light frosty beige color, and used it all over my lid and browbone. Then I used Tempting, a sharp lime green, in the crease. I took the darkest color, Dark Edge, which is a true dark brown and used a tiny bit in the outer V. To finish I very lightly took Sharp, an antique goldish bronze, and brushed it lightly on the outer edges of tempting. Blend it all together, add some black liner and mascara and boom! :D Love it. Easy, simple, yet still eye catching.

120 palette Yellow, Orange, Pink & Gray

This was done with my 120 palette that I purchased on ebay, and I used MAC courtly grey in the crease. Seriously one of my favorite looks. All of the shadows I chose to use are matte and I think it really lends a vibrancy to this particular look.

Nail polish collection

Alright, so on my youtube I had some questions about my nail polish. I posted a storage video, and have since updated to a new fabulous system. I'll post some pics, these are actually a bit old, I've since added another Helmer and expanded my collection quite a bit. :)

I've organized by brand first, and then by color. I've got swatch cards that allow me to see everything at a glance. So if I know I'm feeling green I can just pull out the green cards and go from there. :)

Frankening...

So, I've been wanting to "franken" some polishes for a LOOOONG time. Tonight I finally gave in and got some random polishes, and experimented. I have to say, I love all of the frankens I did tonight. I've got to come up with names, and take some pics during the day so you can see them. WOW. I'm a super fan of this. I've made 6 frankens tonight. I'm hoping that I can stop and see if Sally's carries the empty laquer bottles, I need some, it's a lot harder to do in the existing bottles, especially if there isn't really enough room to add stuff. It's like my inner scientist has finally found a way to fuze with my girly side. It's really cool. :) I'll take some lovely pics and post them tomorrow hopefully! :) Also, got a few new polishes for my stash... maybe I'll have time to swatch and post them too. :)
